A beautiful perceptual anomaly

Have you ever heard of synesthesia? The phenomenon that explains the perceptual anomalies. The most basic and common one is the sensation of colors when you think, read or write numbers.

Some examples from me:

0 is white, 1 is black, 2 is yellow, 3 is green, 4 is blue, 5 is red, 6 is dark green, 7 is skin color, 8 is light yellow, 9 is brown, 10 is black and white.

Sometimes, this happens with letters. For me, each letter in the name of a person has color.

Some examples from me:

Princess Leia from Star Wars…

Princess -> Light pink, yellow, green mixing with blue — but blue exists more, a fading skin color.

Leia -> Light yellow, light blue, yellow with high saturation, red.

Sometimes, this happens with music. For me, I feel like I have the sense of touch for each instrument that plays.

For example Photograph from Oi Va Voi. When the singer makes a French intro in the song, I get the sense of the touch of a black serrated object. When the fading guitar chords play, I get tickled by the touch…
